Design Drawing
In this subject, I improved my drawing skills, learned about various drawing methods, and learned to draw with Copic alcohol-based markers. The following is an amalgamation of some of the work.
Design Ecologies (Garden Hub)
Team: Jordan M - Nicola E - James VC
For our final assignment, we were given a task to design a concept based on avoiding waste. We came up with the "Garden Hub". It is a piece of garden furniture that can be a home for birds and be a source of new plant life. We decided to make ours with a used speaker to help reduce production of E-waste.
Design Prototyping
For my final assignment, my task was to design a piece of wearable technology. As this is "Prototyping" I had to create a bunch of prototypes. I decided to create smart glasses that assist in long study sessions.
User Centered Design (Cleanetic)
Team: Ewaoluwa O - Luke W - Thomas Y
Our final assessment for this subject was to design a hand tool of any kind. We decided to create a toothbrush that is kinetically powered. It also solves many problems with existing toothbrushes such as that annoying dribble that gets on your shirt. Its squeeze design was inspired by a rechargable torch.
